Pioneering Changes.....

News Update
Watch this video (above) to catch-up with the latest news from TheWayCM.

The
Way Christian Ministries Mission to India
Our mission to India has been postponed until early in the new year of 2010.
Praise God for His perfect timing and His perfect plan.
Whilst we are sincerely grateful to those of you who have already contributed we are still short of our target figure. Therefore, we are asking you to consider helping us raise the necessary funds for this mission.

Ground-Breaking

This will be a pioneering and ground-breaking mission.
We want to put in place the technology required for setting-up the prototype for ‘virtual conferences’. We believe this will lead the way for Global Multimedia Interactive Conferencing that will connect the growing number of TheWayCM members around the world.
We will be able to feed and disciple them in a highly effective way.

Making Disciples
It is our purpose to make disciples out of Christians in fulfilment of the Great Commission and to do that we need to utilise the tools of the 21st century
Please watch the video above for more information.
You can make a donation here: http://www.thewaycm.com/donate.html
Thank you and bless you.

The Work of TheWayCM

The work of The Way Christian Ministries (TheWayCM) has, by the grace of God, continued to grow, develop and consolidate around the world during 2008.
The countries with the fastest expansion have been in Asia; particularly Pakistan and India with new works opening in Darjeeling and Myanmar.
In February 2009 I plan to visit our workers in Pakistan followed by a return mission to Nepal this time visiting Darjeeling and Myanmar while I am there.
The work in Africa is now well established with the Apostolic Overseers and their Teams arranging their own crusades. I plant to return to Africa in June 2009 visiting Kenya, Rwanda and possibly Uganda, Burundi and even DR Congo depending on the political situation there at the time.
In the second half of the year (2009) I will be going to India.
In September/October 2009 I plan to spend one month in the South of France holding a series of Art Workshops and Apostolic Seminars.
If you would like to join The Way Christian Ministries on any of the above missions please contact us
If you would like to make a donation to the work of The Way Christian Ministries please click here
There follows some up-to-date reports from the leaders in the countries that work with TheWayCM. I have not altered their words too much so as not to change what they want to say…….

Hello Brother Peter
Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!!
Our village group leaders were asking to me if we can participate in your Crusade with our village and team.
Now you really encouraged me to spend a full day with us. I thought you will just give us 4 to 5 hours for Crusade only. I am very happy and I share this joy with our all group leaders and they are all very excited with the coming day.
Can I invite lay people also? We may have in seminar more than 100 participants.
I believe you will get real true response from our native group leaders and villages. We are just waiting that precious moment.
I believe in God that He will bless all of us and all of in yours ministry working to raise funds for this ministry trip.
We are also praying for yours funds and safe/security trip.
I hope to hear from you soon.

I will be happy to work with your friends in Pakistan and where I am needed I offer my services for Lord's work. I am sure as you are that the Lord is going to do mighty work in Pakistan through your team and we also will play our role for that happily.
Extend my warm greetings in the Lord to your all team and friends.

Pastor Isaac Inayat
Gujranwala, Pakistan

India

Beloved Apostle Peter,
Greetings to you in Jesus wonderful and most highly exalted name.
Thank you so much for sending some support for us for Christmas. I was not in station that is why I was not able to give you reply. As I told in my previous mails that we planned three days gospel out reach program in all our apostolic team area surrounding. This time I have gone to the area of Apostle Peter Paul. It was very good. Even though we did not get shelter to stay at the nights, we proclaimed gospel in surrounding villages. We distributed tracts and presented through gospel songs and brief messages.
Apostle, I sent pocket calendars to you by post. Please let me know when you get them. Also I sent pocket calendars to Apostle Victor & Team (Visakhapatnam) Apostle Obadiah & Team (West Godavari) and here to all our apostles in Bapatla area. They all like them. I hope you also will like those pocket calendars. (NB - dear reader, send a stamped addressed envelope to TheWayCM, Kilcreggan House, Kilcreggan G84 0JT Scotland for a free pocket calendar)
It is joy to hear that you have received finally Telugu Gist booklets. Next time I am planning to do it better than what we did. Apostle, all the TFL Centres are going well under the leadership of our beloved apostles. They are very happy with course. If you do not mind could you please send the course details clearly for two years?
I am planning to do some social activities. For that we need money. We all believe that God will supply all our need according to His richness.
Up hold us in your valuable prayers.
Apostle Vinay

Nepal

My dearest brother Peter,
I am always delighted to hear from you and I am always with you to work cooperatively till I will be in this earth, I will coordinate whole your programme during your time whatever you are planning to do, 100% I will be with you, no doubt.
About your willingness to run the program in Darjeeling with  Rev. Gideon, no problem for me. From our church in Ilam to Darjeeling,  it takes about 4/5 hours by bus, but still we could do combined programme either in Gideon place or our church place or between both places, I may also join with you to go to Burma (Myanmar) if possible.
It will be more expensive than Kathmandu to run the seminars, because of travelling expenses, still there is nothing impossible if the Lord has plan for your next trip in this area, we will pray continually about it.
God would continue bless you,
Pastor Krishna

Uganda

Dear Rev Peter,
I have been teaching our home church groups into various places.
There has been a good progress, praise God.
TheWayCM is moving on well and most of our people are excited about it.
I have been able to pass all this information to many friendly pastors, some have emails, others don't have access to it.
We are very eager to host you next year 2009 as God wills, it is also our request that you give us at least two days please.
Thanks so much,
Pastor Sande Musa.

Malawi

Rev Peter,
Greetings to you in the name of our lord Jesus Christ. I am very happy to inform you about our ministry here in Malawi .
From when we received the first materials, teachings and DVD these teachings have changed our ministry to become very strong and people are interested to be more trained.
Now I see the pastors are walking upright and start to fight hard to make our ministry go on .
Some people are being baptized.
I want to hear from you .
Pastor Frank Chisale. Malawi

Burundi

I greet you in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ, as I told you, many people got saved in the crusade that we had in August, it did bring a lot of fruit, we did preach them since that period and now we have decided to baptize them on 20th December.God is keeping doing miracles for us even if we are working in a tough situation.
God bless you,
Bishop UWOYITUNGIYE Donatien

Rwanda

Dear Rev Peter,
I trust you are keeping well. I would like to thank you for these teachings you are sending and I wanted  to let you know  that  I am doing the Baptism on 25th December 2008 for those who were born again in the last meeting (crusade) in Kigali.
I am planning to have another Crusade in Kiango Kenya and Nairobi at the beginning of next year 2009.
I asked Apostle Chuma to organise it that we may be  there again to encourage those who were born again and the believers that are going to come to Jesus next year.
Please pray for me that I may get some money. I know God can provide for many things for the baptism. We need some transport fare for those people. I know God will never fail
Next year I am also planning to be in DRC Bukavu I am training one Pastor, Kimararungu Floribert . We were together in the meeting at Cyangugu and promised to visit them very soon and give them some teachings.
We can reach the world.
Your son in Africa.
byee Daddy,
Apostle Emmanuel Hakizimana.

Kenya

Hi Rev. Peter and Sis. Nancy,
Praise God! Receive many greetings from the family of TheWayCM Kenya.
I want to thank you for connecting us with Mary's Meals who have assisted us a lot to expand TheWayCM Kenya. I really congratulate you for the divine connection. TheWayCM Kenya has been recognised even by the government through the feeding program. We are now able to feed almost 5,000 children every day in two schools.
In our TFL Centre we want to start some small businesses that can assist TheWayCM Kenya and TheWayCM Africa and I am proposing if we can get funds to buy two motorbikes that shall be used as taxis.
Nowadays, most of the people prefer hiring  motorbikes as a taxi, and one motorbike can generate Kshs. 2,000 per day.
The price of one motorbike is £500 (A good one). If we can get even one to start with, I am sure we shall succeed and have enough funds for TheWayCM Kenya.
I am also planning to have small machines i.e. computers for Computer College. The college will also generate a lot of money to TheWayCM Kenya but first we can start with a motorbike.
God bless you.
Apostle Chuma.

Ongoing .......

This year we are hoping that Mary’s Meals will provide school meals for a very worthwhile project headed up by Pastor Robert, one of our affiliates, in Cebu City, Philippines.
I continue to maintain contact with Apostle Esteban from Villahermosa in Mexico. There is a possibility that he will visit TheWayCM in Scotland during 2009.
We go on developing a very good relationship with our friends in Southern Spain and during 2009 we hope that this will grow even stronger.

The Way Ahead in 2009

Video: http://thewaycmnews.weebly.com/index.html
God willing, 2009 will be a year of missions for The Way Christian Ministries (TheWayCM). 2008 has been a year of preparation, change and growth.
The work of TheWayCM has dramatically expanded throughout the world (http://www.thewaycm.com/missions.html) and we have spent a lot of time building up our Christian Discipleship Resources to meet the demand.
The Foundations Course is now available in seven (7) languages and the weekly Gist in ten (10). We are broadcasting weekly online with Eternal Radio (www.eternalradio.co.uk). In addition there are many new subscribers to and outlets for the Gist through a variety of Social Networking sites and host websites (http://www.sonintl.org/europevideos.htm and http://sermon.net/), praise God.
To be able to go on mission and sustain our growth we need your financial support. You can do this by –
Donating Online http://www.thewaycm.com/donate.html
Purchasing our resources http://www.thewaycm.com/shop.html
Setting-up a Standing Order http://www.thewaycm.com/uploads/5/2/3/0/523006/standing_order_mandate.pdf
Making a one-off gift by cheque payable to: ‘TheWayCM’ and send to – TheWayCM, Kilcreggan House, Kilcreggam G84 0JT Scotland UK
Our next major expense is the Mission to Pakistan in February 2009. On a Third World Mission it is not only a question of getting there and back, we are also expected to transport many of the people to and from the crusades and feed them when they are with us.
We anticipate that we will minister to more than 20,000 people, and separately, in excess of 300 Pastors and Leaders. A conservative budget for the Pakistan Mission is £2,000 (GBPs). Can you help us to raise this amount?
Thank you and bless you.

World Wide Update

Pakistan

Suddenly, the work of The Way Christian Ministries is spreading rapidly throughout Asia and Africa. There are two key areas where we ask for your prayers and your financial support –
1. The establishment of Training for Life (TFL) Centres
2. Media development
We have found suitable premises to rent in Multan. Multan City is strategically placed in the centre of Pakistan with Karachi and Hyderabad to the south and Lahore and Islamabad to the north.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luRVd1LJt08
Multan City is known as a place of learning. It is predominantly Muslim. In the City Centre there is a Christian District.
We have 80 students waiting to begin the full TFL Course. They have completed TheWayCMs’ four months preparation courses (‘Foundations’ and ‘Water to Wine’).
Property 1
:
After much searching (and haggling) we have found a suitable property that is owned by a Christian; the rent of the house is £100 per month, deposit amount is £250 (refundable). There are some start-up cost bringing the total to £500 that has to be paid by June 28th 2008. We could take 20 students / trainees in each session
Property 2:
The next nearest suitable property requires £1000 start up with an on-going rent of £400 per month. There is a room big enough for 80 students / trainees at one time. There are four other rooms and a kitchen. This is the ideal property.
We would need the assurance of on-going financial help in the form of a standing order or similar to take on the responsibility for either property.

India

In both India (mainly Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, South India) and throughout Pakistan, TheWayCM discipleship and teaching resources are being dubbed into local languages (mainly Urdu and Telugu). As well as being used in the local churches and TheWayCM Home Churches there is also an opening for them to be broadcast on local and national TV both Christian and secular. The cost ranges from £180-£300 for local and Christian broadcast per half hour to £360-£540 for national broadcast per half hour.

Many of you will realise that this is the beginning of Phase 4 of the 21st Century Cathedral Vision.

Nepal and Rwanda

In both Nepal (Chitwan) and Rwanda (near Kigali) land has become available where we can build a TFL Centre. In Nepal the land has been donated but in Rwanda the land will cost: £2,700 15 kilometres from Kigali in the district of Kamonyi – Runda sector. The size of the land is 130m by 90m.
In both countries we will have to purchase the building materials and employ builders.

Kilcreggan House 10 Years Anniversary

Introduction
March 2008 heralded the 11 year anniversary of our time in Kilcreggan House and as we reminisce we are awestruck at what God has done over this time in so many people’s lives. We are also filled with joy at how much we have grown in faith and stature and how The Way Christian Ministries (CM) has developed and changed. Many of you have walked with us and supported us on this wonderful journey while others have joined us over the years. As part of our celebrations we want to look back at what God has done during this time and to share with you where we believe God is taking us next.

The Beginnings

The Way CM (charity) grew out of our ministry with The Way of the Spirit (WOTS in Scotland) and incorporated our work in Drumchapel, Glasgow where I was the Minister of a church in Fellowship with the  Assemblies of God (AOG). Drumchapel is an area of social and economic deprivation where many people are trapped in cycles of poverty with associated problems including drug misuse, illiteracy, substandard housing and crime. As we sought to minister in this area many doors and great favour opened to us to enable us to support the local people in very practical ways. This opened people’s heart to us and to the Gospel and as they found faith in Christ the need not only to be discipled but also to have other areas of their lives transformed arose. We realised there was a need for a bible training course which was tailor-made to suit our parishioners’ specific needs and the Training for Life programme was born. This programme consisted of 5 elements affecting the body, soul and spirit and as well as intensive spiritual and bible training our trainees also explored their creativity, physical and personal development.

The House on the Rock

It soon became clear that if those whose lives were very disordered were to see real transformation they would need to be free from their patterns of crime and abuse. This was difficult to achieve in their own neighbourhoods and we desired to find a new way for these believers to receive appropriate ministry. As we sought God he gave us a vision for a 70 room country house and then through a series of miracles provided us Kilcreggan House in 1998. Many trainees were ministered to during this period and we sought to instil value and purpose in each person who came to live with us here. In addition to a 6 to 12 months bible school and training course our trainees tackled gardening, decorating, work around the house, as well as addressing their literacy, social or pre-employment skills.
Although this period was very challenging as many of the trainees still struggled to be delivered  from their old lives of addiction and crime, lives where changed by God’s redeeming power.  Additionally the house which was very run down greatly benefited from the hard work these trainees did.

Open and shut doors

After we began this ministry a number of churches heard that Kilcreggan House had reopened and approached us asking if they could use the centre for conferences, retreats, Alpha days and weddings. This opportunity opened a new door for Nancy as she managed the day to day running of the centre and sought to minister to those who came to stay. The work also raised a source of desperately needed income enabling the House to be slowly improved and upgraded.  As more and more churches used the centre the focus of the house changed to become a Christian conference centre.
In February 2004 the Lord spoke to me and told me a new phase was opening in our lives and it was time to resign as the Minister of Drumchapel AOG.  This was very difficult as I had a great love and compassion for the Drumchapel church family and it took a year for me to let go and move into this new phase. In February 2005, after I had laid down this role God spoke to me again and told me to ‘reproduce the Training for Life model’, which is adaptable to people from all nations and cultures and all walks for life,  and the opportunity for me to minister in Nepal arose. Thus a new phase for The Way CM began; of church planting and discipling people in developing countries.
Trainees continued to come to Kilcreggan but in smaller numbers and from our international outreach churches enabling us to focus more specifically on their needs while still caring for our conference guests.

A place of peace

Kilcreggan became a source of blessing to many Christians who came to look on it as a second home and a place to hear from God. Most weeks we enjoyed visits from a variety of church groups from all over Scotland who loved their time here with us. Many personal ministry opportunities also arose as individuals and families needing healing and respite came for breaks. We enjoyed seeing our trainees marry people they had met here and other divine connections taking place.  One of the most rewarding aspects during this time was seeing new churches birthed here including churches for refugees and asylum seekers such as the IranianChurch in Glasgow.
In 2006 the Lord gave me a new vision for church planting and opened up many new doors to travel internationally. This resulted in a punishing schedule of international travel to every inhabited continent and of watching as the new churches birthed from these visits mushroomed very rapidly.  This move of God opened up another new phase where via the Internet I was able to oversee, equip and disciple thousands of new converts and new church plants in developing nations worldwide. During 2007, as the overseas work flourished, the demand for conferences and retreats began to fall away and my health began to suffer so we urgently sought God as to what direction to take in 2008 and beyond.  We also realised that Kilcreggan House had reached a stage where extensive modernisation and redevelopment was urgently required to keep it open.

A new way

In order to address all these concerns we sought the advice of our trustees and advisors. We also continued to work with our Christian business advisor with whom we had been exploring a number of avenues for redevelopment of the house and land. Through much heart searching, prayer and seeking God we came to believe that God wants us to downsize our ministry base to a more manageable size.  We will continue to focus on working with a small number of international trainees, apostles and pastors who will stay with us for intense training periods. Trainees from developing nations will be trained how to use and access the latest IT technologies and communicate via the internet (on our new website) in order to access training materials and bible based resources. I will also continue to provide pastoral support via email and visits to national apostles in their home countries and to their growing churches.
A smaller ministry centre will free Nancy up to fulfil her desire to minister to our visitors on a more personal and individual level as well as spend more time with our children and grandchildren. She will also have time to support and accompany me on my international ministry trips.

A new day

In June 2004 we fulfilled a lifelong dream to visit the Holy Land and from this trip a desire to facilitate and encourage others to experience this life changing place led to further visits and training to equip us lead excursions to this wonderful country. I am also envisioned to see the creative side of training for life opened up in Scotland and internationally and I desire to see the ‘cathedral vision’ continue to grow. It is our desire to facilitate and encourage the new prophetic worship and creative outpouring which God is doing at this time and this will take place through special conferences and ‘happenings’ and be open to all who wish to participate.

The end of an era

So it is with great sadness that we put Kilcreggan House on the market and wait to see who will buy it.  It will be hard to leave a place where we have so many happy memories, made so many friends   and enjoyed so much blessing. We will of course continue to honour all our bookings and we also plan to host a farewell party for all those who wish to visit one last time.  However, we have a great sense of excitement about what is about to unfold in our lives and look forward to see what God has in store.
The sale of Kilcreggan will release finance for a new base and also enable us to invest into many of the ministry opportunities which have arisen. We will continue to live by faith and seek God to meet our own and the ministries needs. We hope you will partner with us in looking and praying for a 6 bedroom property in South Ayrshire with a granny flat or annex and enough room to host our visitors in comfort and develop the next phase of our ministry.

New opportunities

As we review the past 11 years we see that our lives have never stood still and that God was always training, equipping and stretching us for the next new thing in our lives. We see the Lord is pruning us to ensure we are focussed on fulfilling our calling. There will be extensive opportunities for many of our partners to be involved in new ways in this next phase both here and on mission, as well as opportunities to come to the Holy Land with us and to be part of the creative weeks or ministry schools here in Scotland.   We hope that you will all continue to support The Way CM as we move into this new phase. Thanks to everyone for all you have done for us and with us over the past 11 years, we look forward to sharing what unfolds.
